Dean Allmark will be heading to Dudley to challenge for the prestigious Superslam Wrestling Championship in a Town Hall main event against barnstorming American holder Harlem Bravado at the start of a new season of local events from All Star Promotions.

 

Allmark, also head coach at All Star's highly rated training school now based at Neston, North Wirral, earned his title shot with an impressive showing against Bravado earlier in the year and will be pulling out all the steps to get back the belt he has held on a couple of previous occasions.

 

Bravado, younger half of a top tag team combination with elder brother Lance, has enjoyed solo and tag success around the world with appearances for Ring of Honor in the USA as well as Pro Wrestling Noah in Japan. The pair came together for a series of summer matches here and although Lance returned home late in July champion Harlem says he will be staying put and is ready to take on all-comers.

 

Starting at 7.30pm the programme also brings an appearance by wrestling’s mighty midget, 3ft 6in tall Mark Sealey, the personality-plus campaigner who campaigns as 'Little Legs' and has been seen in many films including later releases in the Harry Potter series.

 

International heavyweight action is on the cards when Devon-based Oliver Grey will call on all the experienced he gained during more than two years in the United States with the WWE's NXT Division when taking on Swedish time-bomb Fabian Steinbolt, a hard hitter from Gothenburg who learned his wrestling with Germany-based American star Joe Legend.

 

There will also be a lively meeting of wrestling divas with Xia Brookside, teenage step daughter of 'Liverpool Lad' Robbie Brookside, now a top coach with WWE in America, facing Scotland's fiery haired force Kay Lee Ray. It will be another big test for Xia who has just completed a first tour to Japan following earlier trips to Germany and the United States.
