HALESOWEN CORNBOW HALL

Saturday 15 September - 8.30pm

We're bringing live stand-up comedy back to Halesowen - and we've got a triple headline bill for our first "Comedy At The Cornbow" on Saturday September 15th!

Canadian tour-de-force Tom Stade has a cult following and remains one of the most popular acts in the country. Renowned for his carefree attitude and broad-minded vision, nothing is taboo. Combining off-the-scale charm, razor-sharp wit and a no-holds-barred attitude, Tom pledges to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. As seen on BBC One's Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, The John Bishop Show and Ch4's Comedy Gala.

Award-winning stand up comedian Alun Cochrane has appeared on numerous TV shows including Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Russell Howard's Good News, Mock The Week, Dave's One Night Stand, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You and 8 Out Of 10 Cats. He was featured as series regular 'Sam' in the Sky Living sitcom Trying Again, alongside Chris Addison and has appeared in Coronation Street. Alun is the co-host of The Frank Skinner Show on Absolute, for which he received a 2012 Arqiva Award nomination for Best Newcomer.

For more than a decade Jo Enright has worked with many of the UK's leading comedy writers and directors. Appearing alongside Peter Kay in Phoenix Nights, with Steve Coogan in I'm Alan Partridge and playing the female lead Sue, in Life's Too Short, directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. Jo has recently received rave reviews for the part of Angela in three series of ITV's The Job Lot. Her comedy awards include the 2002 Chortle Award for 'The Best Female Circuit Comic' and the 2001 'Best Female on the Jongleurs Comedy Circuit' award.

Hosting the night and holding things together will be our resident MC, Wayne Beese - described by Joe Lycett as "one of the sharpest comperes I have ever had the pleasure of working with"!
