Join In Sound Company community choir and special guests from Lutley Primary School for a heartwarming evening of festive favourites, carols, and feel-good Christmas music.
Perfect for the whole family, this joyful celebration will fill Stourbridge Town Hall with the spirit of the season - laughter, harmony, and a sprinkle of musical magic.
In Sound Company (ISC) is a vibrant and welcoming community choir based in Stourbridge. Founded in 2012 with just 19 singers, the choir has grown to over 80 members and now performs a diverse repertoire of musical styles, led by conductor Judith Moreland.
ISC gave its first performance as part of the 2012 Olympic Torch Relay celebrations in Birmingham and has since gone on to stage regular concerts - often raising funds for local charities - as well as taking part in workshops, festivals, and tours. The choir also enjoys collaborating with the charity arts organisation Gig Caritas, including performing in last year's Best of Broadway production at Dudley Town Hall.
In 2022, ISC celebrated its 10th anniversary with a series of special events, including a commemorative concert and ceilidh, a performance at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall as part of the Community Spirit concert, and participation in the massed choir at the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony. A video retrospective of highlights from the choir's first decade is available to watch on YouTube.
Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings during term-time at St James' Church Hall in Wollaston. New members are always welcome - especially tenors and basses. There are no auditions required.
