Spoon Speaker Man is the electrifying musical collaboration born from the decades-long friendship between Dan Worton and Craig Walker. Having first crossed paths in 1991 during extensive tours with their bands Ned's Atomic Dustbin and Power of Dreams, Dan on drums for the Neds and Craig as the charismatic frontman of POD, their shared passion for music has now culminated in a thrilling new project.

Dublin born singer/songwriter Craig Walker began his recording career whilst still in his teens with the acclaimed Dublin band Power of Dreams.

In the preceding years he has been a songwriter/frontman for Archive, Them There, Booka Shade, Mineral, Craig Walker And The Cold. Releasing multiple albums, singles, EPs across a career spanning four decades.

Craig has also written for and with a number of prominent artists including The Avener, who's worldwide hit "Fade Out Lines" was co/written by Craig and Phoebe Killdeer.

Dan Worton is an English drummer and founding member of the indie / alternative band Ned's Atomic Dustbin. The band formed in the late 1980s and went on to have 5 Top 40 hit singles and a Top 5 album 'Godfodder' which sold more than half million copies in 1991. The band continued with two further albums, 'Are You Normal?' and 'Brainbloodvolume', and the popularity continued with television, film and radio coverage. Throughout the 1990s the band toured extensively around the world before splitting in 1995.

In 2008 the original band members reformed and they continue to perform at festivals and venues throughout the U.K. with other Indie bands from the 90s.

With over 30 years of camaraderie under their belts, Dan's musical prowess as a versatile multi-instrumentalist harmonizes seamlessly with Craig's captivating lyricism and soulful vocals. Together, they are poised to unleash their debut album in late 2024, promising a sonic masterpiece that embodies the essence of indie rock at its finest.

Boasting a dynamic fusion of energy and innovation, Spoon Speaker Man's upcoming album is a testament to the creative synergy between these two indie powerhouses. Fans can expect a compelling blend of nostalgia and novelty that will resonate with both die-hard enthusiasts of their previous bands and a new generation of music aficionados.

To bring their music to life on stage, Spoon Speaker Man has assembled a formidable live band, ready to ignite audiences with their infectious energy and undeniable talent. As anticipation mounts for the release of their debut album, the stage is set for Spoon Speaker Man to captivate music lovers worldwide and leave an indelible mark on the indie music scene.
