In Sound Company is a vibrant community choir for adults, founded in 2012 and based in Stourbridge. With around 80 members drawn from a wide surrounding area, the choir prides itself on being warm, inclusive, and accessible - welcoming adults of all ages and from all walks of life, including those with no previous musical experience.
Led by Judith Moreland, ISC has developed a lively and varied repertoire that ranges from contemporary choral music and pop favourites to musical theatre and seasonal celebrations. The choir is well known for its joyful Christmas concerts, which have become a much-loved tradition in the local festive calendar.
ISC also regularly collaborates with its sister organisation Gig Caritas on large-scale fundraising concerts. These events offer the choir the chance to perform alongside orchestra, band, and guest artists in ambitious, uplifting concerts for the community.
At its heart, In Sound Company is about connection, confidence, and the simple pleasure of singing together. As it continues to grow, the choir remains committed to sharing the joy of music and enriching the cultural life of Stourbridge and beyond.
